After taking a break from blogging to pursue other ventures, writing this blog post feels like being welcomed back by an old friend. Jenna Fifi has certainly evolved over the years and has brought me some incredible opportunities and collaborations with names such as ASOS, Clarks, Smythson, Le Pain Quotidien, Imperial Leather and more. With more major collaborations on the cards, and some exciting plans for 2016, Jenna Fifi finally got the update it deserves. A new layout, a new logo and a new Canon 5D mark iii to capture my blogging projects means you can expect to see a whole lot more from me in 2016. I absolutely adore my little websites makeover, and feel it’s cleaner, more minimalist look is the perfect backdrop for the projects I have planned.
This year you can expect more photography, more recipes, more written content and lots more travel.
I’m looking forward to pushing myself further this year, and producing content of a higher calibre with brands that I am passionate about.
Despite taking a break from this blog, I have been posting prettiness over on my Instagram page with even more enthusiasm. I can’t quite believe how much it’s grown over the past year and what started as a grainy snap on my phone, published with a questionable filter, has become a visual diary of all the beautiful things I come across on a daily basis. The response has been fantastic, and with 17,000 followers, it’s amazing to think so many people enjoy the simple, little snapshots of my life. Here are some of your favourites from this year!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll already know all about my new baby; Sugar Bloom. After years of baking cakes and sweet treats for friends and family, I decided to start my very own artisan cake company. Each cake goes through a design process, and I see each scrumptious creation as a piece of art. The support I’ve received has overwhelmed me, and I’m looking forward to baking more this year!
You may also have noticed some sunshine on my Instagram late last year, as I travelled to Australia for a month to spend time with my boyfriend. Its fair to say I’ve fallen in love with the beaches, the sunshine and lifestyle over there and thats why I’ll be returning again next week. I can’t wait to post all the photos of my travels here and I hope you enjoy reading about my ventures!
