2017 Gift Guide | Gifts for the Foodie and the Cocktail Connoisseur

I have to confess that this list is as much a gift guide as it is my wish list. As a foodie and an increasingly experienced cocktail enthusiast I certainly do appreciate something that facilitates both passions.

Basking in the 2017 trend of copper accents, I’ve gathered together some truly festive foodie and boozy gifts that will delight not just under the Christmas tree, but as thank you gifts to party hosts right up until New Years.

So pour a glass, settle down and enjoy browsing my tantalising favourites…

Tarquin’s Mulled Cranberry and Tangerine Gin

Gin was always going to be on the cards this Christmas, but a Christmas gin infused with festive botanicals? Now that’s something special. The Cornwall based distillery has combined cinnamon, cloves, all spice, nutmeg, ginger, cranberries and tangerine for a magical, spirited Christmas day gin.

It blends zesty freshness with nostalgic notes of warm spiced, mulled fruit just beautifully and could easily be cemented as a festive tradition. The opulent bottle is limited edition, which makes this an absolute must buy this season. By far one of my favourite products across all of my gift guides, this gin is the gift that goes the extra mile and will undoubtedly have a very merry legion of festive fans – myself included. Hic..

M&S Alphabet Glass

When you’re buying for lots of people, trying to find that thoughtful, special touch for everyone can be tricky. But utilising the increasingly popular trend of monogramed gifts will certainly make things easier. Simply purchasing a gift with the loved one’s initial on can make it so much more bespoke and thoughtful. It’s an effortless way to impress this season and something that will undoubtedly be treasured for a long time to come.

The M&S Alphabet glass is a steal at £8, and a perfect gift on its own or paired with a favourite drink. Decadent, glamorous and very Great Gatsby, it’s the perfect party tumbler! And if they’re not one for a tipple then this glass can double up as the most beautiful makeup brush holder! Christmas sorted!

M&S Hammered Copper Shot Cups and Cocktail Shaker

For the friend who has a well-stocked bar in their house, and who gives the local cocktail mixologist pointers when you go out, this may be the perfect gift for them.

The hammered copper cocktail shaker is sure to kick off the party and the adorable shot cups will keep those navy strength concoctions ice cold!  For that personal touch, create some recipe cards of some of the most memorable (or can barely remember) drinks you’ve shared and prepare to me the most adored, cocktail guinea pig in the world.

Walkers Shortbread Mini Gingerbread Men & Ecclefechan Tarts

Every Christmas, there’s always plenty of Walkers Shortbread around. It’s melt in your mouth delicious and I’ve always loved decorating them with icing. This year Walkers Shortbread have launched the most adorable collection of festive treats, my favourites being these cute miniature gingerbread men and the delicious Efflefechan tarts. A lovely gift to give this Christmas!

I’m Jenna! A photographer, stylist and recipe developer constantly seeking and sharing life’s little tonics. Here is where I share delicious, sparkly stories from Somerset, with my rescue dogs in tow.

In short, I’m usually behind a lens, eat a lot and often lose 4G.

Jenna Fifi is where you’ll find everything from indulgent recipes and hotel reviews to skincare recommendations and interiors inspiration. Life natters are complimentary. It’s a varied mix of late-20s souvenirs, the best bits of course, all jumbled together and served with a sprinkling of humour and a slice of the bright side.

This space is made to be rummaged through, and I hope you find something that leaves you full with life lustre, rippling ideas and hungry for cake and beyond.
