2017 Gift Guide | Stocking Fillers for Her

Stocking fillers are always my favourite gifts to buy at Christmas. They take a little extra planning, more shop browsing but can be the most charming and thoughtful gifts to unwrap on Christmas morning. It’s a great way to show how well you know someone, with an assortment of little gifts that you’ve been gathering over the last few months.

There was always a huge amount of joy peeking from underneath my duvet as a child, studying the sparkling tiaras and glittering wands sticking out of the sack at the end of my bed. It was always a monumental effort dragging it into my parents room, but inside was pure Christmas magic!

Even today I still get a stocking, albeit a rather more concise and less glittery one. It’s filled with little luxuries, top-ups of my favourite products and always a bag of gold coins and a chocolate Santa that barely survive the morning.

I always love creating hampers for loved ones at Christmas, and stockings can be another way to bundle some themed, but thoughtful gifts together. Imagine a gin themed stocking filled with pretty glasses, mini gins, the obligatory Fever Tree and a selection of garnishes! Or perhaps everything a budding baker needs to make some festive treats; hand written recipes, mason jars of pre-weighed ingredients and adorable cookie cutters. No matter what the budget, or the person in mind, stockings are incredibly enjoyable to receive and of course to give.
