Every year my Foodie Gift Guide draws the most attention. All the spirited tipples and golden confectionary attract readers hungry for a glittering slice of festive magic. And whilst I’m sure many have bought those gifts for loved ones, I’m sure some have also treated themselves.
Foodie gifts really are loved and appreciated by all and every year brands find more inventive ways to whisk a healthy drop of Christmas with some irresistible flavours. It’s a tough job every year, but here are my 2019 standouts:

The Sweet Treat
If you’re gift recipient has a sweet tooth, then you’ve got an easy gig. But instead of going for the standard box of chocolates, why not get something that guarantees more of an indulgent sugar experience. The Naked Marshmallow Co have launched a dipping kit comprising of salted caramel and chocolate orange marshmallows and two velvety dips. The multiple wooden skewers would suggest sharing, but don’t be surprised if they keep this to themselves!

The Sweet Splurge
For something extra special, head to the unrivalled masters of Christmas confectionary, Fortnum and Mason. All the quintessentially British charms included.
The Gin Edit
I’m definitely not alone in being a big fan of all things gin, which is why it’s a popular gift to give at Christmas. But instead of gifting a single bottle of gin, why not choose something a little more special…
The Main Event
I absolutely love my Craft Gin Club parcel arriving every month. It doesn’t just include a fantastic bottle of gjn, but also a moreish selection of perfectly paired tonics and nibbles.
A subscription to the Craft Gin Club would be an incredible gift for anyone who loves a gin tipple, and can be given as a one off or for multiple months. You might just be the favourite relative…

The Secrets
Whether it’s for a keen mixologist or a novice sipper, Sipsmiths genius 100 Gin Cocktails recipe book is a bar essential. Beautiful and elegant in design, knowledgeable and inventive in substance, every recipe uses only 3 ingredients so it’s easily achievable. The recipes are also rather good too..hic
The Arsenal
No bar would be complete without the (very elegant) tools of the trade. Copper looks gorgeous on any bar cart, and Sipsmith have a range of beautifully crafted pieces ready to mix up a G&T.
